Melnaattu Marumagal

Melnaattu Marumagal is a 1975 Tamil film starring Sivakumar, Laurance Pourtale, Kamal Haasan and Jayasudha in the lead roles. Sivakumars wife was French actress Laurance Pourtale. Kamal Haasan plays the role of younger brother of Sivakumar. Jayasudha was Kamal Haasans pair. Vani Ganapathy, a danseuse appeared only for a dance sequence alongside Kamal Haasan whom she later married in 1978. The film was remade in Telugu as America Ammayi.

The music composed by Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan, while lyrics written by Poovai Senguttavan, Ulandhurpettai Shanmugam, Nellai Arulmani, Tiruchy Bharathan, Geetha Priyan and Kuyili.
